Joy of the Day, Day 6: Food

For me, food is love. Since I relinquished most of my cooking duties a while ago, when Stephen caught the Sunbasket bug, I consider most of the meals laid before me to be gifts. Amelia likes to cook too, and it has been fun having her back in our kitchen. This morning she gave me the gift of banana pancakes, made extra delicious, no doubt, by her hand in preparing them.

Today, food is my joy.
